    Basic Black Skirt

    I’ve only worn my skirt a couple times. It ‘s comfortable. I had to sew the slit up (down) so that it only opened up to the back of the knees. There are no pockets and I ordered before remembering that there are no pockets. Since there aren’t a lot of choices of quality wool I’ll have to make do. The fabric is similar to another brand in NY that I really like. In general quite happy with the skirt. It seems fine. Since I don’t want people seeing the outline of my legs in the sun I wear another light wool layer underneath and it makes the skirt lay really nice. There’s plenty of stretch and the skirt doesn’t feel tight with less slit in the back. Please add pockets.

    This is my new go-to for travel!

    I love this skirt - it is the perfect length for travel - not too long and not too short, and is cut well through the body so it doesn’t cling, and the material is weighty enough to flow smoothly over curves. I bought the skirt in both black and sierra red - the red is more of a burgundy (my preference) than an orange-red which the name sierra implied to me. It is a gorgeous deep red that feels seasonless. I bought the cropped tank as well, which goes perfectly creating a nice silhouette,. On me the high front, very low back tank is short but not cropped so is not as revealing as the model. Styled with a blouse or scarf and you are good to go!
